Just listened to the Yeah Yeah Blah Blahs cover of Diamond Sea. It's ok - nothing to get too excited about - just found myself wanting to listen to the original! Does that sound harsh? Well, I've never been much of a fan of the Y's so I don't feel too bad.
i really like the way it's stripped down, and treated like a proper song, something people never do with sonic youth. it makes you remember what a good song it is in the first place, which i suppose does make you want to listen to the original too!
